Hey PHS! Thank you for being part of “Lunch On the Lawn”, we love meeting you all and getting this chance to get to know you a little better. It is a lot of work for us, but you are worth it!

We at First Christian Church spend all this time and effort making you a delicious lunch during Homecoming week because we want to help make this an extra fun week for you; and even though we don’t know many of you, we care about you. We care, not because we’re just wonderful, loving, special people, but because God loved us first.

God loves you too. Whether you accept that fact or not, God loves you and will always love you and will never be deterred from loving you. And because of that wonderful love, He wants to give you gifts and a happy life full of opportunities to love Him back.

But, sometimes there’s a road block to that plan. How can God give you His good things and wonderful life, if you don’t know Him and won’t accept those gifts? God loves you so much that He does not want to force you to love Him. He wants you to make the choice on your own that you want to accept His love and His many gifts for your life. Don’t let the chaos of this world or the craziness of certain people get in your way; find out for yourself who God is and get to know the Father that loves you more than you’ll ever know.

That’s our job here at FCC. It is our duty to tell you how much God loves you, and give you as many chances as we possibly can to learn more about what that means and how it will change your life. We are here for you. Our doors are always open to you, so come experience our activities – our youth ministry meets every Wednesday from 6:00-7:30 PM, and we have morning worship at 8:00 and 10:00 AM. It’s your choice.
