Weekly FCC Update For May 21

Good evening. Here is your Thursday Update for May 21, 2020.

PLEASE PRAY FOR Sue Bennett who is hoping to return home soon after a surgery last week.

Pray also for Gary Blair and Greg Terry following their recent procedures, for Bob Martin who is resting at home, for Ray Coombes who is receiving care at Providence Health Care, and for Sonnee Thiel’s fiancé who is recovering in St. Louis.

Please pray for Rev. Mike Dixon who is awaiting options for pain management.

We extend congratulations to Brenna, daughter of Rev. Jamie and Susan Kent, in her baptism last Sunday!

Scholarship letters have been sent out. Those who received a scholarship are asked to take a photo of themselves with their certificate to be posted on the FCC Facebook Page. Send your photo HERE. Congratulations to all scholarship recipients, and hats off to the Scholarship Committee.

The “When the Doors Open at FCC” survey is still available on the website through tomorrow evening. If you haven’t completed the survey, please take a few minutes to share your thoughts with us.

Please let the office know if you have a graduating 8th grade, high school, or college student.

The Messenger is back! Hats off to those who have made that happen. Next week will be the last Thursday Update you receive via auto call. If you would rather receive The Messenger via email, you may make that request on the website.

Plan to worship with us via livestream at 9:00 a.m. Sunday. This week will feature our annual Memorial Day observance.

Last but not least, please make an effort to express your gratitude to Rev. Mark and Kendala Parkinson for all of their love and support during their time at FCC. Prepare your hearts to welcome the Kent family. Pastor Jamie Kent will begin his pastorate at FCC on Wednesday.

You are up-to-date. Have a blessed week!
