On Sunday, June 3, we’ll have our “Indoor-Outdoor Day” when we have 8:00 AM worship in the sanctuary and 10:00 AM worship at the West Lake Pavilion. Following the outdoor service is a carry-in picnic with meat and drinks provided by the Membership Committee. Bring a side dish to share, your own table service, and a lawn chair (if you prefer).

On this Sunday we also invite and recognize with a certificate those who were awarded the FCC Scholarships. This year’s recipients are: DISCIPLES MEN – Kenny Milam; FAUST MINISTERIAL – Cliff Gale II; FRAZIER MEMORIAL – Angus Beabout; HASLER – Braden Chittick; HOUSTON COMMUNITY COLLEGE – Gracie Rhoads; JUMP MEMORIAL – Montana Boatman; KERRICK MEMORIAL – Claire Woods; MINK NURSING – Brody Spencer; MOSS AGRICULTURAL – Nathan Tague; OWENS MUSIC – Katherine Smith; THIEL EDUCATION – Jensen Bess.

In case of inclement weather, the 10:00 AM service will be held in the church sanctuary and the “picnic” will be in the Fellowship Hall. There will not be Sunday School that day, as we will be moving and setting up during that hour at the park.
