God Goes Where You Go

When I have a day off on a weekday it seems I have so many tasks to get done and so little time. These are the days I have to catch up. Laundry, housework, grocery shopping, and of course, errands need to be done. I ask God for His blessing and for Him to give me the strength to get everything accomplished. I need to remind myself that God is with me wherever I go. He walks with me every moment of every day.

There is nothing that He doesn’t know and cannot do for us. Sometimes we find ourselves in situations and wonder if God is paying attention. For example, on this particular day full of tasks, I had most of them done, except for some grocery shopping. As I pulled into the parking lot at Bridwell’s – this was a while ago – I heard a train approaching. I thought to myself, “Not now Lord! I don’t have time to wait on a train!” When I came out of the store, I heard God laughing. The caboose was pulling away on the train tracks, just in time for me to exit the parking lot and get home for supper.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” ~  Joshua 1:9
