Congrats, hip-hip-hooray, and a big ol’ hazzah to Taylor Cooper for getting baptized! We are so glad you have decided to dedicate your life to service of the Lord, and we welcome you into our church family.
Our “SYP” experiment, or Service Youth Projects, was a success! We went to eight different houses, worked hard at work worth doing, saw some friends and even made new ones. Thank you to all youth who came out to serve and to all the adults who allowed us to come to your homes and serve.
Youth Group / Crossroads / God’s Gang
Youth Group is on! Every Sunday from 6-8; be there! We are talking about how to keep up our spiritual health.
God’s Gang and Crossroads is still going well! We have had a small dip in numbers the last few weeks with everything going on lately, but we know that the Lord works wonders through this program and its volunteers, so we won’t be down for long! We always appreciate your prayers for God’s Gang and Crossroads.
We are trying something else new in November: A Chili Supper! This is a night when the youth will get together and eat chili, hang out, play games, and so on. Since this is a new event, I still have some details to iron out, so just be aware that it’s coming and start practicing your chili cooking skills!
Thank you, Mike Kirk3 and Austin Kirk, for reading the scripture on Sunday mornings.
Thank you, Donna Moody and Cindy Robinson, for providing us all with delicious treats during Sunday School.
Thank you, everyone who opened their homes to myself and the kids for SYP, we were blessed to bless you..
