You Lead, I’ll Follow

We all go through changes every day. Some we hardly notice and some we notice and are affected by very much. Sometimes the change is doing something familiar in a different way; like a new job, making a new friend, or learning to like a different kind of music.

When we are taken out of our comfort zone or our comfort zone is changed, we become afraid that things will not turn out the way we think they should.

In my past, I have gone through changes and felt like God was not with me. Now I look back and see that God was there waiting for me to let Him help me.

Isaiah 41:10 says, “Do not be afraid, for I am with you: do not be alarmed for I am Your God. I give you strength, truly I help you, truly I hold you firm with my saving right hand.” We need to focus on letting Him lead us, not on all the changes we are about to face. Like the song by Jamie Grace says, “You lead, I’ll follow, Your hands hold my tomorrow.”
