Changes At the Right Time

A few years ago I challenged you to put CHRIST back into Christmas – one greeting at a time, by changing the way we pronounce CHRISTmas, being good sowers because mighty things can grow from small seeds planted in good soil.

A lot has changed since then. I am no longer able to sit with you in worship. I’m at the Oaks Manor and they have volunteer services here with local church leaders. But since I’ve been here, I’ve realized that Rev. Mike and Peg Dixon have loved and taught us well. Their leaving FCC will not diminish what was “seeded” in our hearts.

I’m reminded of a card I carried in my Bible for several years that read: “Endings happen. Closings come. Life Changes.” That is so true. But God doesn’t change. He is good. He goes before us, preparing a way in the wilderness. He sent His Shepherd for His flock at just the right time. His love for you will not end. Remember…

“…that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” ~ Romans 8:28

TODAY: Pray for someone who lives alone by name.
